Definitions
Trainee includes undergraduate, masters, PhD, post-doc, medical students, residents, and fellows with proof of status. If no proof is provided onsite, the regular attendee rate will apply.
People with lived and living experience (PWLLE) includes those living with heart disease, stroke, and/or vascular conditions and carers of those with lived experience (family or informal carer/friend) who are also affiliated with an advocacy or health organization (e.g. Heart & Stroke, University of Ottawa Heart Institute, HeartLife, etc.).
Masks, physical distancing and vaccine protocols will no longer be in place at off-site congregate settings unless mandated by the venue itself. However, attendees must be informed by event organizers that they are not to attend if they are unwell or showing any symptoms of illness.
Cancellation Deadline and Fee
By registering for this Summit, you agree to the outlined terms and conditions. Refunds less a $85.00 administration charge will be issued for cancellations received in writing by January 17, 2025. No refund will be issued for cancellations received after this date. Only cancellations received in writing at cwhhc@ottawaheart.ca will be processed.
