Getting Back on Track in January

The festive season is over and it’s a brand new year!  I have to admit that I did not completely fulfill my resolutions about the holidays.  I had a wonderful, relaxing time, but I definitely over-indulged!  So, now it’s January……I am back at the gym every morning and I am attempting to get my eating back under control.  It is not easy – especially when it’s so cold and wintry!   My aim this past year has been portion control, healthy snacks at work, cereal or oatmeal for breakfast, salads for lunch, sensible dinners, and limited wine consumption!    I have also adopted a gluten-free diet because that has steered me away from breads and sugary treats.  This has worked for me – now I just have to get back on track.  I welcome any input from others who face the same challenges!
